About the original Art
All marks are made by Ruth on paper. She works with a Faber-Castell Polychromos black pencil, India ink, watercolor paint and Staedtler graphite pencil.
Grey-tone areas seen on some of the drawings are created with a very sharp graphite point; the lines are exquisitely fine and drawn parallel and very close to one another to create a grey shadow with great texture.

About the Matt Board
We use 2-layered, tiered, museum-quality black or white matt board to make the original art frame-ready. The windows in the matt are cut with 90-degree ‘clean-cuts’.
